School Exuses!!!

Now we all have those day’s when the teaacher ask’s us to hand in our homework and we don’t have it. Well do you need some New Excuses for not doing homework Well read on (Credit to pichusworld.net)

 

Excuses for not doing homework

First of all, I, Pichu’s World nor the staff can be help responsible if you get in trouble because of the text written below; follow the advise and tips at your own risk. I prefer not to lie, and I would encourage you to do so to. But, I can’t force you to do so to. Besides, a little porkie can’t hurt once in a while but it may get you into bigger trouble later on.

General Tips

• Look serious and worried — you need to be a good actor to make yourself convincing! (good thinks to do: start biting you nails, start shading/twitching you
• Say sorry before you start your excuse — that always helps put the teachers in a better mood with you.
• Think quickly and be confident.
• Prepare yourself for answers that the teacher may ask you (think like an annoyed teacher!)
• Don’t get lost in your lies! Make sure what you say agrees with everything you’ve said before. If a teach doubts you it depends on your assumption whether it’s too late to turn back and admit your guilt, I can’t help you there.

Excuses

‘The computer broke’

Tips: When saying it it was your computers fault, use technical language to make it more convincing. Examples:

• ‘The motor of my computer fan broke before I had a change to print it off last night’
• ‘Someone recently increased the memory of our computer; I didn’t back up my files which was a stupid thing to do…I thought everything would be fine but when I turned it on it suddenly crashed and turned off. The guy accidentally touched the mother board and short-circuited it.’
• ‘The runners in my printer broke when I tried to clear the paper jam.’
• ‘I would have tried to go to the library to print it off but I didn’t have any was to transfer my files from my computer (I don’t have a floppy drive and memory sticks are expensive).

 

‘I spilt my drink on it and it smudged’

Tips: claim that someone else spilt it (not you), and that it happened right before you left school.

• ‘I but it in the kitchen table ready to take to school. My mum accidentally spilt her coffee on it. I didn’t have time to redo it; I didn’t want to be late for school. I would have taken it as proof, but the whole paper ripped as it picked it up. I had to hurriedly bin it.’

 

‘I was ill’

Tips: say exactly why you were ill. Don’t lie that you went home sick if you didn’t; you might tip up in your lies because it’s an easy thing for the teacher to check. Don’t use this if you think your teacher may ring up home.

• ‘I had diorreah last night and I felt really ill. It was hard for me to concentrate, I tried but it was no use.’

 

‘My dog ate it’

Tips: way too classical…they’ll never believe you. Also, Include a name to make it convincing that you actually have a dog Say:

• ‘We’ve recently got a new puppy which isn’t house trained; Bingo just wees everything. I accidentally dropped my homework on the floor and he weed it this morning. I’m terribly sorry…I would bring it in as proof but you would probably want to see the state of it, plus it smelt really bad. My mum told me to bin it straight away.’ I
• If the teacher is unconvinced say: ‘I can get my mum to write a note. I wouldn’t really lie. I speaking honestly, what can I do to prove it?’ Look very worried and stressed.
• If the teacher says to get a note from your parents: Use posh, informal words — no slang or shortened words (i.e. use can not instead of can’t) Use italics (if you don’t normally), change the way you curl your ‘y’s and ‘g’s, and change the length of your ‘t’ and ‘l’ stems. Keep the writing consistent; try not going back to your normal handwriting half way through. If that’s too hard, get a good friend to write it (make sure they won’t tell!) Keep your spellings correct; use a dictionary or spell checker. Example of a well structured note:
  
  Dear Mr/s [Teacher],        I am terribly sorry that my daughter/son was unable to complete her homework. She is very hard working, and I assure you that she can make up for the homework that she did not complete. She could not complete her homework due to [insert lie about computer problem]. We did make a floppy disk back up, however it has become corrupted and we are unable to open her/his work after numerous attempts.        As far as I am aware of the computer was not seriously damaged and the certain parts will be replaced promptly as to not delay my daughter’s/son’s homework any further.

1) Please excuse Jennifer for missing school yesterday. We forgot to get the Sunday paper off the porch, and when we found it Monday, we thought it was Sunday.

2) I was late for class because the bell rang before I got here!!
